See the FIFA World Cup in Selfridges on Wednesday 10th. To hear some free live music in the early evening during the week go to the National Theatre. Not really a what's on but every Wednesday up to June you can get a free coffee in the morning at Giraffe restaurants. The East London 2010 festival takes place from Thursday 4th to Tuesday 9th and there will be various activities going on such as the London Word Festival. London Film Day is something new where the premiere of Nanny McFee and The Big Bang will be shown at the same time in 15 cinemas. It takes place on Sunday 21st. Emma Thompson stars in Nanny McFee and she will be signing copies of her new book on Saturday 6th at Waterstones. The St Patrick's Day parade is on Sunday 14th. The celebrations will start in Trafalgar Square. If you like going to film premieres then this is your month. It's looking like there will be 5 premieres in Leicester Square this month. See our London Film Premiere Guide for tips on seeing the stars. Jennifer Aniston and Gerard Butler are due on the Red Carpet on Thursday 11th. Speaking of films, the director Paul Greengrass will be at the Apple store talking about his new film with Matt Damon. He'll be there on Tuesday 9th. The Late at Tate on Friday 5th is looking like another event as they put on more mainstream events. The East Commonwealth Games with bicycle polo and other strange games takes place on Saturday 6th and should be a good laugh. With Easter just round the corner you could head to the Southbank Centre for the Easter Chocolate Festival on Friday 26th. On Wednesday 10th Somerset House have a fabulous photography exhibition that's only on for a month and is easily a must see event. The daily evening music events at the National Theatre are easily overlooked so why not chill out this month and go to one of them. Don't say I didn't tell you about this early enough. The Barbican family film special on Saturday 27 is already getting booked up and I'm writing this in February. Book now if you want to go.

Enjoy London in March like Londoners do

| | Enjoy London events to the max!Our What's On In London leaflet has events going on for the week you're in London. For instance in May last year there was a massive street party in Oxford Street and not one London guidebook mentioned it. We did. And what about the Tapas Fantasticas weekend. It was a Spanish fiesta in London or the many film premieres that happen in London. Did any of them have that? Of course not. If you didn't have the EPok London Pack you'd have missed out on these brilliant events. Click London Offers and you'll see the Pack's as good as we say it is. Enjoy London to the max RainbowSurfer, Norm, Chris P | |
